My favorite thing at Daikokuya is the tsukemen, though I still can’t figure out why it should cost more to have the same ramen ingredients placed on a separate plate.

Even when the place is nearly empty, say at 4 on a Thursday (ahh college), it still takes a while to get more water or the check. I’m hesitant to yell out “sumimasen,” but there have been times I’ve gotten up and walked over to the waiter to get something.

I agree with your comments about ill mannered children in restaurants!!!! There’s nothing worse..Shame on the parents.
And back to the ramen…yummm. The gyoza looked delicious, too.
