also i totally hear you on the shoving too much in while traveling. i used to do this until i met my husband and he taught me how to actually relax and do as the locals do (which in pretty much every other country but america’s case is relax and take long lunches). i now have no problem going to france, italy or spain and spending 3 1/2 hours drinking 2 bottles of wine and eating 3 courses at lunch.
