Yes, you are right. If I spent $55, I would have felt a bit miffed. With talking to some vendors, they were under the impression there would be more vendors. Perhaps because the website said “and more coming” or something like that. I would not venture how much I’d actually pay for this event though.

I did like that the valet was free!

MC: I’m not sure how many people would consider $55 for bites of food and cocktails made with a specific liquor (no matter how unlimited they are) reasonable but I agree that supporting a good, non-profit cause is a good reason to attend any event. Don’t get me wrong- I did enjoy many aspects but just felt it could have offered a bit more. I respect your opinion as well and do realize you put a lot of work and effort into the event…thanks again for the invite.

I believe the 55 is reasonable however, given that compared to dinner and drinks (which can run you almost the same depending on where you go, since two cocktails alone are about 15-20) here drinks were unlimited, you also get a gift bag, possibility of winning raffle items, unique atmosphere, and in the process you support a great non-profit cause. I would like to think that people wish to support these types of endeavors.
